After coaching thousands of entrepreneurs over the last two decades…
I’ve realized what slows most people down is over emphasizing things that don’t matter…
And not paying enough attention to the things that do.
With that in mind, today I want to share a few “quick & dirty” tips that will help you both simplify and grow your business faster.
Let’s get into it.
1. Keep Advertising Simple
Cute and clever ads don’t cut it. In fact, they just burn your money.
You must be clear and concise.
That’s why I teach the good ol' AIDA Formula for your marketing:
Attention – You must get their attention in a sea of a million messages!
Interest – You must generate interest through a promise that is different.
Desire – You must make a (Godfather) offer that they can’t refuse.
Action – You must finish with a clear call-to-action on what to do next.
Do NOT reinvent the wheel. Model what is working.
Do more of that.
2. Inspect What You Expect
If you tell someone to do something…
Chances are it won’t be done the way you want.
One big money example of this is the sales call.
If you “expect” your sales team to close at 80%, you must be inspecting their work regularly.
That’s why my team does a weekly sales role play session. This has been a game changer for their confidence... and closing numbers.

3. Incentivize Actions & Push Deadlines
If you are running an offer, you must have urgency.
If there’s an exclusive offer of limited quantity and special pricing...
It will make your sale much stronger.
ESPECIALLY if it’s only available for a limited time and you have a clearly defined deadline.
You need something to push prospects off the fence and over the goal line.
Give them a reason to take action now, rather than later (which almost always turns into never).
4. “Godfather Offers” Are Key
In 2007, my first Mastermind Mentor Yanik Silver told me:
“Craig, you must make a stronger offer... one that delivers at least 10X – and preferably 100X – the Value of the price you are charging.”
That’s easier said than done.
Trying to explain that for my fitness programs was a lot harder than justifying it for the IG course I used to sell...
… where many customers were able to make a 3X return in just 24 hours…
Or for our business coaching, where clients have doubled or tripled their business in as little as 90 days — or even 10x’d within a year.
The more desirable the result you provide…
The higher your prospect’s perceived likelihood of success…
The shorter the amount of time to achieve the desired outcome…
And the lower your prospect’s perceived effort or sacrifice for that outcome…
Then the stronger your offer will be.
The success of your business all comes down to the strength of your offer.
So choose wisely.
