While 21 million is set in stone, there has never been a more important time to critically take stock of what is needed for Bitcoin to truly scale in a self-soveriegn manner. While early adopters have enjoyed the properties of self-custodial and on-chain Bitcoin, in its current form, the network leaves much to be desired if it is to scale to meet the needs of billions of humans. This time of change and innovation will by no means be simple, but this is a call to arms to inspire and amplify the community of Bitcoin innovators working to push the boundaries of what is possible with this technology.
