Greetings from Canada! On the way back from Europe, we stopped in Toronto to spend some quality time with my wife's family and to break up our trip. Nine hours on a plane is much easier than twelve with little kids. I've been busy compiling my notes, editing photos and writing trip reports. Here's part one: Toronto to Barcelona in Air Canada’s Premium Economy. Part two will be in tomorrow's Daily Travel Tip newsletter, which is a detailed review of the Enchanted Princess (pictured above in Livorno, Italy). I'm working hard to get parts 3, 4, 5 and 6 out by next week. In the meantime, I also wrote a lot of timely travel tips and shared some crazy videos so scroll down to see them all including 12 things I learned from traveling to Europe this summer. And did you read about the three TSA agents who were arrested for stealing from passengers? It's down below, too. If you're planning on stocking up on some travel gadgets or early Christmas presents, then this might be the week to start shopping as Amazon Prime Day is July 11 to 12 and they already have some early bird deals that are worth jumping on. FYI: If you're planning to travel to Italy this week, note that United Airlines (among others) have sent out a travel waiver as workers there are planning to strike again on July 14 and 15. |

💬 TRAVEL QUOTE OF THE DAY "Our youth now love luxury, they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders, and love to chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up their food and tyrannize their teachers.” ~ Socrates (399 B.C.) |
