Happy Friday! Today we have Tom O’Regan, Madison Logic’s CEO, providing three marketing predictions that won’t come true and what marketers should be focusing on instead. Artificial intelligence (AI) was once again one of the top marketing buzzwords in 2019, but the industry has not yet reached peak adoption. Tom thinks 2020 marks the year that marketers need to stop hiding behind advanced data analytics and branding them as “AI” and instead focus on the real thing. Speaking of AI, as hype around it continues to grow year-on-year, here is a look at how the tech can help mobile apps boost their end-users’ experience. Also ICYMI: PathFactory, a leading in content intelligence, announced a partnership with 6sense, an AI-powered account based orchestration platform, that will give marketers complete visibility into the quality of account engagement, as well as what content and topics are accelerating them through their customer journey. Tapad, a leader in digital identity resolution, has partnered with AcuityAds, a technology leader that provides targeted digital media solutions for advertisers to connect intelligently with audiences. Exponea, the global market-leading Customer Data Platform (CDP) for online retail has announced its appointment of Scott McNabb as SVP and General Manager of the Americas. Proxyclick, the leading provider of enterprise visitor management software, today announced that it closed a $15 million Series B funding. Leading software investor, Five Elms Capital, is investing $30 million in Skynamo, field sales app and management platform provider. More than two thirds (68%) of iOS 13 users have opted out of sharing background location data, according to new Location Sciences report. |
