A new Hulu documentary charts his company’s dramatic rise from its launch as a co-working space in 2010 to its famous implosion and near-bankruptcy in 2019, after which Neumann was forced out. On top of building a company that was once valued at $47 billion for little apparent reason, it’s clear he created a company culture that was unsustainable, manipulative and full of red flags.
