Donate Now to Support Vital Food Access and Education for Your Neighbors in 2022
Greetings!

If these last two years have taught us anything, it’s the power of YOU, our community, taking collective action to create a resilient, equitable, and sustainable local food system. We are changing the way food is grown and distributed, so that family farms are supported and everyone has access to fresh food.

So far, 144 generous community members–including market shoppers, volunteers, vendors, board members, even our own staff–have taken action this December to donate critical funds for CUESA’s food access and education programs in 2022. We just have 3 days and $14,713 left to reach our year-end goal of $50,000 by December 31.Will you help us meet our goal by donating today?
Like you, we believe that healthy food is a right, not a privilege. Since the pandemic, the number of customers using CalFresh (food stamps) at our farmers markets has nearly tripled. With your support, CUESA increased by 50% funds for Market Match, a program that doubles low-income families’ fresh food dollars at the farmers market, while putting dollars directly in the pockets of small California farmers.

The need for food assistance programs that support family farmers and help folks stretch their food dollars is not going away. We need your help to keep these programs going and ensure that no one is turned away in 2022.

You have the power to put your values into action right now. If you’ve been meaning to give, don’t delay. Will you donate to support family farms and provide vital food access and education?Any amount, whether $10 or $100, will make a difference in your community. Thank you!
P.S. If your employer matches gifts, we would be so grateful if you could take the extra step to initiate the match. Every contribution gets us closer to our goal! Please email [email protected] if you have any questions on how to get this set up.

P.P.S. Your donation is tax-deductible and will make a difference!
