Celebrate 23 Black-Owned Businesses at Juneteenth on the Waterfront Tomorrow

Kick off a month of Juneteenth celebrations tomorrow, June 7, at the fifth annual Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Juneteenth on the Waterfront. Meet the 23 local Black food and craft makers who will set up shop on the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal Plaza and in the plaza in front of the Ferry Building to offer delicious food and drink, handmade preserves and sauces, craft items, apparel, and more. While you shop, enjoy music from a local DJ, engage in live screenprinting with the Haight Street Art Center, and let your little ones make a Juneteenth necklace at our kids’ craft station.

Tomorrow's Demos: Fernay McPherson &

Chef Sarah Germany

As a part of Juneteenth on the Waterfront, we're hosting two back-to-back cooking demos! At 11 am, Fernay McPherson of Minnie Bell's Soul Movement will demo her signature collard greens. Then, at 12 pm, Chef Sarah Germany will show us how to make a classic hot sauce.

Ferry Plaza Farmers Market: Featured Vendors

Sierra Cascade is one of the oldest blueberry farms in California and one of the first to become certified organic. They have a relatively short season, so be sure to catch them on Saturdays at the Ferry Plaza.

After 32 years, One Market Restaurant is closing, which means their pop-up Mark 'n Mike's will also be leaving the Ferry Plaza. Say goodbye with some delicious deli fare on their last market day, tomorrow, June 7.

Mission Community Market: Featured Vendors

Get ready to fire up the grill with corn from G&S (Ghiggeri and Stonebarger) Farms. Visit them on Thursdays in the Mission and Saturdays at the Ferry Plaza for their famous, freshly picked Brentwood Diamonds sweet corn.

It's stone fruit season at the farmers market, which means Tory Farms is back! Visit Tory Farms on Thursdays in the Mission and Saturdays at the Ferry Plaza for tree-ripened peaches, nectarines, and more.
