Hello everybody, This week in the archives we've had a look at a good variety of subjects and I'm excited to bring them to you here. First I took a look at some of the long forgotten shops that have disappeared from the streets of Preston over the years. Some are more easy to remember, but many may come as a surprise. How many do you remember? Next was a real test of knowledge - some of the top goalscorers for Preston North End over the years. Again some are more obvious, like Tom Finney, but some may test the old grey matter. As Halloween approaches we thought it would be the perfect time to see how it was celebrated on the Fylde Coast - in Morecambe, Garstang, Fleetwood and Lytham in particular. And lastly, who remembers the Preston Schools Music Festival? Many of you may have taken part in this annual event over the years. I know I certainly did and have fond memories of singing in the Guild Hall. Here you can see pictures of this concert from the 90s and 00s. That's all for this week.
