NATIONAL: Cloud-based hybrid engagement platform ON24 has debuted ON24 Go Live, a new self-service solution that allows clients to quickly and easily build branded, interactive virtual gatherings ranging from conferences and pop-ups to town halls and meetings. ON24 also recently announced new innovations across its platform, including an update to its webcasting capabilities and more ways for customers to track prospect engagement data. Live Nation has expanded its concerts team by hiring Jay Byrd as the newest global tour promoter. In his new role, Jay will be responsible for several existing tours with top artists like Lil Baby, A$AP Rocky, Logic and more. Byrd will also be responsible for building new relationships with artists and booking tours across North America as well as major international tours around the world. LOS ANGELES: The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) will host its 10th annual Art+Film Gala on Nov. 6. The evening will feature a performance by soul singer Celeste, and it will honor artists Amy Sherald and Kehinde Wiley as well as filmmaker Steven Spielberg. MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Nationally touring seltzer festival Seltzerland is coming to Miami’s Costa Del Sol Golf Club on Nov. 6. The immersive experience will feature over 100 unique hard seltzers, along with food, Seltzer-themed goodies and photo ops. Recognizable brands like Mike's Hard Lemonade, Vizzy, Fireball + 99, Bacardi, Buzzballz, Sparkling Iced Spiked and Smirnoff Ice Spiked will all be participating in the one-day experience. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau has appointed Carol Motley as its new senior vice president of convention sales and services. Motley will be responsible for occupancy and attendance at conventions, trade shows and meetings in Greater Miami and Miami Beach, working with meeting planners and executives to find new leads, bookings and room nights to ultimately produce a positive economic impact for the community.
