An online panel from the German Blockchain Association has broken down the details of the upcoming Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation – with the final legal text of the regulations set to be released in October. |
The MiCA regulation is designed to cover all EU member states, also covering the licensing and operations of crypto-related firms. |
NFTs and stablecoins have still not been covered by the regulation so far, however crypto asset service providers (referred to as CASPs) are covered closely. |
