Anchorage Digital, which owns the first federally-chartered crypto bank in the US, has announced that it will be launching an Ethereum staking service for institutions. |
The feature will enable institutional investors to collect ETH rewards on their custodied Ether after its shift to proof-of-stake, both in the form of block rewards and transaction priority fees on the network. |
The date for Ethereum's mainnet merge is estimated to be around August 2022, however this could be delayed further depending on development. |
