Throughout the month of January, the 2024 Say Thanks Austin campaign saw more than 84,000 acts of gratitude toward the volunteer Legends shown below.
Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Say Thanks Austin closing ceremony, where we got together one last time at City Hall to give away $20,000 in donations. Special thanks to Paige Ellis, our friends Judy Maggio and Leslie Rhode at ATX Good News (check them out!), and the incomparable Bobby Jenkins for lending their voices to help us celebrate these amazing people making a huge positive impact in our community!
Congrats to ALL of the participating teams this year, all of whom received a minimum $500 donation to the nonprofit of their choice. In first place was Erik Stoeckle of ROCK, receiving a $10,000 donation in his name, followed by Carol Rabun ($5,000 to Carol's Kindness+) and Judith Craft ($2,000 to Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy).
Each of these amazing people will now have the opportunity to select the next honorees each month, as the circle of good continues to grow!
