Hello everyone, 👋 As we move into the fall, there's a definite crisp, cool breeze here in Ontario. I'm a big fan of this season, and while I'm going to wear my flip-flops for as long as possible, I'm also looking forward to the leaves changing colour, and all the amazing things coming our way. 🙂 Dave and the U10 boys wrapped up their soccer season with sunny skies and smiles, and the next weekend we were off to pick up equipment, as Jack has decided to try football. The St. Thomas Hawks have had a great start to the season, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that 1Password Park will be completed in time for a Thanksgiving football game later this month — Go Hawks, go! Dave's photos from the games and WWDC had me looking forward to the September Apple Event. Unlike Dave though, getting a new device always gives me a sense of dread — setting everything up can be such a hassle...or at least that’s what I thought! This is my first device upgrade since I moved to a 1Password membership, and wow, did that ever make things easy! I downloaded 1Password, clicked "I have an account", scanned my QR code, entered my Master Password, and was done. Everything was ready in a snap, and thanks to iOS keyboard autofill, signing into things was painless. 🙂 1Password 7.4 for iOS 13 introduces a number of new features that Michael Fey wrote up on the blog. Not to be out "un-shone", Michael Verde and our Android team have also brought Dark Mode to Android (dad jokes not included). Also on our blog, you’ll see we recently announced some powerful new security tools for business, called 1Password Advanced Protection. This is included with 1Password Business, at no extra cost to our customers. And for those of you who haven't listened yet, I'd encourage you to give the Random but Memorable podcast a try — Matt, Roo, and Anna sit down with some amazing security guests, and every episode leaves you feeling like you've spent time with friends and learnt some fascinating new things. 🙂 And with that, I'll wrap up this newsletter. As always, thank you so much for your support over the years, and for welcoming our 1Password family into yours! For the Canadian readers, I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with family, friends and food. 🙂 Until next time, |
