Happy hotter-than-heck summer!

Right on cue, the thermometer is flirting with 100 and the humidity isn’t helping. Oh well, I’ll take hot summers over cold winters.

Know what else is hot? Home sales. May is typically a busy month for house hunters, but last month here was super busy. The market here has been on fire, it seems, month after month as more people come to their senses and move to sunny San Antonio. Mortgage rates in the 3.5-4 percent range don’t hurt either.

Have you seen those golden doodle puppies? They’re so cute, and unfortunately bait for scamming people. Coming up Friday on KSAT 12 News, I’ll visit with a kind-hearted woman who wanted to give a sweet dog a home and wound up losing hundreds of dollars to a fake company.

I hope you’re staying cool this summer and finding something enjoyable to do. I had the chance to see "Hamilton" last weekend in Austin, and it was such an entertaining show. The drive up I-35 was not so entertaining, though.
