NATIONAL: Mobile app The Ultimate Playlist launched on Nov. 14, and combines music, tech, and gaming to help artists reach new fans. The free-to-play platform was conceived by Shevy Smith and Khalid Jones, was developed by the Arizona Lottery, and gamifies the act of listening, plus offers daily cash raffles and jackpot drawings for users to listen to and rate new music. It will be refreshed with 40 new and randomized songs daily across a slew of musical genres, and is open nationally for users aged over 18 on iOS and Android devices.

ATLANTA: Live! at The Battery—the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta—will open its holiday pop-up bar, Tinsel Tavern, on Dec. 1. Open through Dec. 24, holiday revelers can enjoy twinkling lights, holiday-inspired cocktails and small bites, and photo moments. Tinsel Tavern will also host festive, themed nights (think: Dancing Elves Silent Disco and an Ugly Sweater Party) as well as Family Day every Sunday from 4-7 p.m. where kids can visit Santa, enjoy coloring stations, and more. Reservations are now open, or walk-ins are available for drinks and socializing.

LAS VEGAS: Multiple Michelin-starred chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay opened Ramsay’s Kitchen—a concept inspired by his travels abroad—at Harrah’s Las Vegas on Nov. 16. Star dishes include the tuna tartare, jump lump crab cake, pan-seared scallops, beef Wellington, crispy salmon, plus desserts like sticky toffee pudding. The space seats 244 guests and features a collection of glass-blown, copper-colored pendants that cascade from a reflective ceiling in the main dining area. A private dining room seats 12 and offers a glimpse of the action on the cook line.

NEW YORK: On Air Fest has announced the initial list of headliners, world premieres, and live performances for its annual flagship festival at Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn, taking place this year Feb. 23-25, 2023. Highlights include an immersive, walk-through podcast experience featuring ephemera from the world of My Favorite Murder, a series of "sonic dinners" pairing audio and culinary arts, and three days of on-stage talks and live tapings from On Being with Krista Tippett, People's Party with Talib Kweli, and Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso.
